Despite the big popularity of shopping centres, Kraków is still the leader when it comes to shopping in commercial streets.
Atmospheric streets where you can find a cosy cafe to have some coffee and take a break from shopping still attract not only tourists but also residents of Kraków. The commercial streets located in the very heart of the city teem with life – they do not lack atmospheric restaurants and cafes as well as luxurious boutiques and beauty supply shops. When the weather is fine, shopping in the Old Town is much more enjoyable than in an air-conditioned shopping centre.
The most popular street in Kraków when it comes to going shopping is located nearby the Main Square – Floriańska. It is full of shops with brand clothing, beauty supply shops, jewellery shops, wedding dress salons, charming small shops with souvenirs, cafes, and restaurants. You can find there shops of such clothing brands as Orsay, Reserved, Tally Weijl, Diverse, Colloseum, Vero Moda, Promod. What is more, BGN Paris and Aggi boutiques are also worth mentioning. Retro shopping enthusiasts will surely fancy Pracownia Modniarska, a place where you can get hand sewn hats. As far as footwear is concerned, there are shops of an appreciated brand Donna Piu, Zebra, as well as Adidas, Martens, Badura, and Ryłko, among others. Beauty supply shops are also present – including Rossman, Douglas, and Sephora. Future brides will not be disappointed with the wide range of wedding dress salons, for example Madame, a wedding fashion house.
Another street that is very popular with shopping lovers is Grodzka Street, also situated in the Old Town. It is a perfect place for luxurious brands enthusiasts – you will find here Paul&Shark, MaxMara, Leo Lazzi, Axara, Wolford boutiques, among others. In Lusso moda boutique, designer label clothing, for example by Armani or Versace, is available. Apart from brand clothing shops, there are shops with accessories – de Mehlem and Lamato – and jewellery: Pandora, Red Rubin, Schubert World of Amber. Attractive items are also offered by beauty supply shops, L'Occitane and Yves Rocher.
Going down Grodzka Street towards the Main Square, you will reach an elegant shopping arcade – Pasaż 13. This place turns the Square into a perfect place to do some shopping in a beautiful location. Pasaż 13 is full of fashionable boutiques with goods of both Polish and foreign brands, such as Dsquared2, Givenchy, Jimmy Choo, Stella McCartney, and YSL. If you want to take a break from shopping, you can enjoy a glass of wine and fresh aromatic antipasti in Bar 13. It is definitely the most elegant place for shopping in entire Kraków, and the design of the historic Renaissance tenement house encourages its visitors to relax in the cosy area of the arcade.
