Krakowskie Błonia
Kraków Błonia Park is a spacious meadow, whose area amounts to 42 ha, in the city centre where important events are often held.
For many Poles, the park is associated with John Paul II’s meeting with the faithful during his pilgrimages to Poland. What is more, numerous concerts and other mass events take place in Błonia. Usually, it is also a great place for leisure and relaxation. The residents of Kraków spend their time there with friends and family on bike trails, doing sports, picnicking, and taking walks, especially in spring and summer. There are two sports clubs located in the park – Zwierzyniecki Klub Sportowy and Juvenia Kraków. Interestingly, Błonia Park was included in the register of monuments in 2000.
