Kazimierz - recommended restaurants

Kazimierz is a cult district of Kraków full of small and atmospheric cafes as well as restaurants. We recommend the best places which are really worth coming by when visiting the city.

Klezmer-Hois – Jewish cuisine

When visiting Kazimierz, a district being a melting pot of pre-war Jewish culture, it is worth having an exquisite dinner in the best Jewish restaurant in Kazimierz. Klezmer-Hois is a restaurant located in the very centre of the district (6 Szeroka Street), close to the Remuh Synagogue, and offers traditional dishes of Jewish cuisine. The design and culture events taking place there nurture the tradition of pre-war Kazimierz.

Manzana – Mexican cuisine in Kazimierz

We recommend the Manzana restaurant, located at 11 Miodowa Street, to all amateurs of Latino cuisine. Unique Mexican dishes, made of fresh ingredients by a staff of highly qualified cooks full of passion cause that the restaurant is very often filled to capacity, despite being quite large. An atmospheric design turns even waiting for your order into some quality time.

Ziemiańska – interwar period on a plate

Art deco interior, elegance, and unique menu from the plates of interwar elites – these are some of the reasons why it is worth visiting the Ziemiańska restaurant, at 7 Izaaka Street, when you are in Kazimierz. The menu perfectly renders the atmosphere of traditional Polish cuisine from the interwar period. Main courses, soups, and desserts based on genuine recipes from that period are not only tasty but also look great.

Casa Nostra – an Italian trattoria in the heart of Kazimierz

If you love Italian cuisine, make sure to find some time to visit Casa Nostra (25 Dajwór Street). Unique dishes from Italy, prepared systematically, surprise with a fresh approach towards primary Italian dishes. During lunch hours, the trattoria is a peaceful place with cosy atmosphere, while in the evening it becomes an Italian restaurant teeming with life.

A unique spot on the map of Kazimierz is Bagelmama.
