This unique place attracts not only with a wide range of historical books from different periods, genres and on various subjects but also with a unique atmosphere, created by the design and jazz music from a vinyl record as well as a group of passionate people. Connoisseurs of art living in Wrocław surely know the legendary and oldest antique shop in Wrocław – DAES, located in 15 plac Kościuszki. You can find here exceptional goods related to painting, graphic arts, sculpting, glass processing, ceramics as well as furniture, clocks and jewellery. Particular attention is paid to contemporary art and Silesian craft – largely thanks to cooperation with the Polish-German Centre of Research on Silesian Cultural Heritage of the Association of Polish Art Historians. What is more, DAES evaluates and performs opinions of pieces of art.

Kaprysy Gallery of Art and Design – 8 Przejście Garncarskie

Located in the very heart of Wrocław Market Square, Kaprysy Gallery of Art and Design is a perfect place for enthusiasts of modern art and design created by local artists. Here, you can see and buy works of the most interesting young painters, sculptors and designers from Poland as well as abroad. What is more, hand-made jewellery, artistic ceramics, unique furniture and other interior decor elements are available, too. Thanks to the activities of the Gallery, pieces of art can become a part of people’s everyday life rather than be ordinary exhibits in museums.

Polish Posters Gallery in Wroclaw – 54 św. Mikołaja

The oldest online shop with posters has its seat in the centre of Wrocław. It is a unique initiative in terms of advertising Polish graphic arts – the Gallery distributes, and often publishes, works of the most prominent Polish designers when it comes to posters. It includes over 5,000 posters from different decades, with the oldest ones dating back to the 1950s. You can find here the most famous film posters as well as the series called “Poster – Poland”, created for the purposes of the Gallery.

Antyki przy Szewskiej is a shop which offers antique furniture, lamps, paintings, glass, ceramics, china and old everyday items.
