Stanisław Moniuszko’s famous opera, “The Haunted Manor” in four acts, with Jan Chęciński’s libretto was staged in the Grand Theatre for the first time back in 1865. Still, the performance has not lost popularity – the premiere of the current adaptation took place in 2001. “The Haunted Manor” is considered to be Moniuszko’s biggest work and one of the most important operas of the 19th century.
