The Fish Market has already become a regular element of the culinary map of Warsaw. Every Friday, fish enthusiasts can choose from various types – freshwater, seawater, fresh, smoked, marinated or even pickled. Also those who prefer seafood have their favourite stands here – with such delicacies as mules, oysters, vongole, fasolari, navajas, shrimps, squids, octopuses, crabs, lobsters, scallops, crayfish and sea asparagus. If you cannot make up your mind, you can always try some of them on the spot.

Since Christmas is right behind the corner, we would like to invite everyone to a special 6-day edition of the Fish Market. It will begin with “Wielki Warszawski Śledzik Ze Znakiem MSC” [lit: Huge Warsaw Herring with MSC Sign], a meeting for residents of Warsaw at a 10-metre table full of herrings, loafs of bread and pickles. Guests will have a chance to enjoy some fantastic mulled wine as well as something stronger and receive a book with celebrities’ recipes for Christmas herring.

During those 6 days, the Fish Market is going to be opened longer than usual to allow everyone to get fresh fish for Christmas. What is more, many delicious dishes are going to be available for tasting. If you buy a fish or fish dish for more than PLN 40, you will receive a 40 PLN voucher for a fare in a mytaxi cab.
