Jan Kanty Pawluśkiewicz’s imaginarium at ICE Kraków
On the artist’s 75th birthday and 50th anniversary of the start of his artistic career, the Kraków Festival Office is organising a special concert. For his jubilee, the co-founder of the group Anawa, theatre and film music composer has chosen the oratory “Ogrody Jozafata”, written in 2002 and inspired by Dante Alighieri's Inferno. The Beethoven Academy Orchestra and a choir of 100 people under the baton of professor Wiesław Delimat will do their best to ensure the best possible performance of this work. Soloists will appear on the stage, too, including: the soprano singers Iwona Socha and Elżbieta Towarnicka as well as Magdalena Idzik (mezzo-soprano), Aleksandra Kruczek (tenor) and Tomasz Rak (baritone). The artists will be led by the conductor Ewa Strusińska.
