KRES is a bar which was founded based on passion and love for Ukrainian as well as Georgian cuisine and culture.

In this inconspicuous spot you can not only taste traditional Ukrainian cuisine and the best Georgian wine but also participate in meetings, workshops, concerts, film screenings and other events whose topic is related to the culture of these two countries.

A bilingual menu is an overview of home-made, traditional Ukrainian and Georgian dishes. You can try aromatic soups – borscht, kulisz (groats with meat and vegetables) or Georgian kharcho, an iconic soup based on walnuts and rice. When it comes to the main courses, the cooks offer Cossack meat or Poltava dumplings, usually served with sauce. All dishes are made on a current basis from fresh, seasonal ingredients. If you have a sweet tooth, you will surely fancy Kiev cake, which, according to the original recipe, requires 48 hours of preparation.

When it comes to drinks, you can choose from original Ukrainian ones – traditional coffee, chai, mulled wine, home-made lemonade and compote. In terms of alcoholic beverages, there is true Georgian wine and strong Ukrainian vodka.
