On 30 May, „Podróże” magazine, under the honourable patronage of Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, and Swedish embassies, is organising another edition of an outdoor family event promoting the Scandinavian countries. The Scandinavian Day is taking place on Skwer Hoovera this Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 08:00 p.m.
It is going to include numerous attractions for children and adults, such as concerts, workshops, literary events, meetings, performances and culinary fair.
Schedule:
11:00 a.m. – ceremonial opening with Danish, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish ambassadors
11:00 a.m. – 07:00 p.m.
- Competitions with attractive prizes
- Great fun with LEGO blocks
- Presentation of tourist attractions, travel agencies and carriers’ offers, as well as Scandinavian companies offering their products on the Polish market
- Exhibitions, fairy tales shows, characters from Scandinavian fables
11:30 a.m. – “Pippi Band” choir performance
12:15 p.m. – meeting with Edyta Jungowska
01:00 p.m. – arts workshops for children
02:30 p.m. – Baj Theatre – a play inspired by Tove Jansson’s books about the Moomins
03:00 p.m. – presentation of the Scandinavian countries
04:15 p.m. – Finnish wife carrying competition
05:15 p.m. – Nordic walking – advantages, equipment, technique
06:00 p.m. – Finnish karaoke
06:30 p.m. – Hiipivät Kissat concert
07:15 p.m. – Mustat Silmat (Finland) concert
