One of the most popular early music festivals will soon be held for the second time, this time in an extended form. This year’s special guest is John Butt – an outstanding conductor and early music interpreter from Edinburgh. He leads the ensemble Dunedin Consort.
One of the parts of this year’s programme will be a cycle of evening concerts: Lachrimae (Tears), which will be held after 11:00 p.m. at the Corpus Christi Basilica in Kazimierz in Kraków. Contemplation of music in semi-darkness, surrounded by candles, is a unique experience.
