Ostrów Tumski
Ostrów Tumski is the oldest, historic district of Wrocław, where the medieval Cathedral of St. John the Baptist is located. The district is picturesquely situated by the Oder, and one of its most distinguishing spots is Tumski Bridge, where lovers attach padlocks to express their love. The architecture of Ostrów Tumski attracts a lot of tourists – some of the most impressive monuments of the district are the Cathedral, gothic churches, Archbishop's Palace and monuments of saints.
