Anyone who enjoys cultural events, concerts, atmospheric bars and intense parties until dawn will like Wrocław. The city teems with life long after midnight mainly thanks to thousands of students – especially near the Market Square, Grunwald and Downtown. Below, we present you a small guide including the best streets in Wrocław when it comes to parties and clubs.
Similarly to other cities, the night life of Wrocław concentrates around the Market Square and its vicinity. There, you will find the most popular clubs, pubs and bars which are really worth checking out when visiting the capital of Lower Silesia. Some of the most notable clubs situated in the Market Square are: Domówka, Casa de la musica, Puzzle, PRL coffee club bar and Coffee Planet. Every single one of them has something unique to offer – Domówka is a perfect place for those who love small parties at their friends’ place, Casa de la musica is made for enthusiasts of hot Cuban salsa, PRL is a bar known for friendly atmosphere and cheap alcohol, while Coffee Planet, an inconspicuous cafe during the day, turns into a great place to party open for the LGBT community in the evening.
Equally popular is Plac Solny, located by the Market Square, a place full of pubs, bars and some bars – including Gradient, among others. The same goes for lovely streets diverging from the Market Square – for example Kiełbaśnicza Street (where the legendary Antidotum club can be found), św. Mikołaja Street (Grey Music Club), Odrzańska Street (Coolturka). Many clubs are also located by the main artery near the Market Square – Kazimierza Wielkiego Street. There, you can find such party venues as Nietota, Kitsch, Eter, Dziwne Dni.
The undisputed cradle of clubs in Wrocław is Ruska Street, stretching from Plac Solny to Podwale. This is the street where the legendary Pasaż Niepolda, which is full of partygoers visiting such clubs as Bezsenność, Drugie Dno, Mundo, Melanż Klub, Konqurencja, Garage or the iconic Niebo, are situated. There is a lot to choose from, especially due to the fact that a few gates away you will find the so-called “small Pasaż Niepolda”, a little yard where small underground clubs and pubs for alternative fans are located (Niskie Łąki, Czarny Kot, Strefa Zero).
There is no doubt that entertainment is one of the reasons why it is worth visiting Wrocław. On a wild party night, we recommend checking out the most famous club paths as well as visiting some of the less popular venues, which are not only less crowded but may also turn out to be more interesting and atmospheric.
