Frida

Frida is a restaurant established by a group of friends. As the name suggests, Mexican cuisine dominates. The place is full of ceramics, glass ornaments and other elements which brought from Mexico. When establishing the restaurant, the owners’ aim was to refute the stereotype that Mexico is associated only with cactuses, sombreros and mariachis. Frida Kahlo, the symbol of love and unlimited passion, is the patron of the restaurant.

Frida’s menu does not only include dishes of Mexican cuisine. It is divided into following categories: Entradas, Ensaladas, Sopas, Tex Mex, Hamburgers, Filetes, Pescados y Mariscos, Especiallidades, Postres, Frida Nueva, Menu for kids, Beer, Beverages, Alcohol.

For a nice start, you can have hot jalapeno peppers stuffed with cheese, beef and tuna or sliced beef with cactus and sides. Salad with avocado or pears with dried tomato sauce are also interesting options. A main course in Frida costs 20-60 zlotys. Tacos with sliced beef and pinto bean, fajita with shrimps and chicken breast with chocolate-nut, Mexican sauce are particularly recommended.

For dessert, you should try chocolate-paprika Brownie cake or cherry quesadilla. When it comes to alcohol, you should stick to the tradition and try some tequila or Margarita, which is based on this liquor.
