The Amber Museum, located in the heart of Kraków, is one of the most important spots on the amber map of Poland.
The museum gathers numerous impressive exhibits made of Baltic amber. It is a place where you will learn all vital information how this typical Polish stone is made and about the history of processing amber. A permanent exhibition “Amber – Its Beauty and History” was prepared by the Museum of the Earth in Warsaw.
Apart from it, the facility prepares temporary exhibitions as well as meeting with famous people related to the topic. What is more, the museum organises courses and trainings for amber sellers, as well as for children and teenagers. The facility has also got a shop with amber goods where you can buy genuine amber jewellery and other decorative elements.
