Metro is probably the most famous Polish musical. Directed by Janusz Józefowicz was the first private production in postwar Poland. It’s a spectacle about young people full of passion, ambition and joy of life. It’s the story about following dreams and how to never lose hope but mostly it’s the story of love. The premiere was in 1991 and since that moment the spectacle is still played which shows how popular it is. We can honestly say that it’s big part of history of musicals in Poland. The songs performed during the show are in Polish but even though it’s worth seeing.
