Discover the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews.

This is a modern cultural institution. The museum holds both temporary and permanent exhibitions.

Its unique collections and exhibits, thanks to reconstruction and multimedia, present the 1000-year-old history of Polish Jews. POLIN will take you on a journey through the ages, starting from the legends about the first Jews who came to the Polish land, through the industrial and trade progress, to manslaughter and modern times. Here, you will learn about kings, thinkers, inventors and industrialists. This is a place to discover the holidays, customs, religion, culture, fight and sacrifice of the Jews. Unique collections, reconstructions and multimedia allow visitors to enter the world that no longer exists.

Polin is a place where those who wish to learn about the past and contemporary Jewish culture can hold conversations and meet. This ensure better understanding and greater respect between the two cultures – Polish and Jewish.

The museum also has a restaurant that serves traditional Jewish cuisine as well as a shop with souvenirs and books.
