Folk Gospoda is one of the oldest restaurants in the capital. It is always teeming with life and enchants with its warm atmosphere and beautiful interior design based on Polish traditions.
Folk Gospoda is located in the city centre so it is very easy to reach it. It attracts people not only from Warsaw but also from all over the world. This restaurant is definitely a place for true connoisseurs of Polish cuisine who are looking for flavours of their childhood and dishes made of natural ingredients.
Folk Gospoda offers traditional dishes in a surprising, unique version. The restaurant is distinguished among competition by nurturing cultural customs, such as making own butter or baking own bread. This place is particularly friendly for family traditions because of weekend feasts where extended families meet with each other.
Usually, a main course costs 30-70 zlotys. There is one exception ‒ the so-called board of the best Polish game which is 139 zlotys. What is more, the restaurant offers traditional pierogi with potatoes and cottage cheese, with cabbage and mushrooms, with meat and cracklings or with spinach and goat cheese. Goose drippings gravy, which is prepared according to a secret recipe, with country bread, pickle and onion rings is a particularly recommended starter.
For dessert, Folk Gospoda offers a trio of its own sorbets (wild strawberry, orange and lime-lemon with mint).
