Damasiewicz is an extremely talented musician, trumpet player and composer.
His works combine jazz with 20 th -century classical music and modern music.
He has won the 2013 Fryderyk Award, the Warto prize awarded by Gazeta Wyborcza, the Wrocław Music Prize and the Krzysztof Komeda’s Composer Competition.
