On 18 August, a new timely exhibition dedicated to one of the four elements – water – will be opened. Full of undiscovered secrets, interesting, impressive and surprising, it offers a lot of titbits.
You will have a chance to discover amazing properties of water and learn about its huge potential.
The exhibition will include 14 different exhibits which will be placed in large containers filled with water. In total, there will be 7,500 litres of water, i.e. over 40 full bathtubs.
Visitors will take a look under a ship’s hull, load a cargo ship, escape a sinking ship, practice dry diving and take an underwater selfie!
What is more, you will have an opportunity to see the remains of Zygmunt Otto’s sculptures retrieved from the Vistula, compare the contemporary diving suit with one from the 1960’s and admire a real bathysphere, which will be standing in front of the Copernicus Science Centre.
The exhibition will be displayed from 18 August 2016.
Admission is included in the ticket to the Copernicus Science Centre.
