From 26 February to 2 May 2015, the National Museum in Warsaw is holding an exhibition consisting of works of a brilliant Polish modernist painter – Olga Boznańska. The reason for the exhibition is her 150th birthday, which falls on 15 April 2015. This appreciated painter is famous for works such as: In the Orangery, Portrait of a Boy in School Uniform, The Artist's Studio, Granny’s Name Day and Portrait of Anna Saryusz-Zaleska. Often associated with impressionism, she applied an original technique of painting with small brush strokes.
