Sign language workshops for families and friends

Come to family workshops expanding knowledge of the world of the deaf where you will have chance to learn basic expressions in sign language. The classes will be coordinated by Marta Abramczyk and Adam Stoyanov – deaf actors starring in One Gesture – a play directed by Wojtek Ziemilski whose premiere took place on 24 September at Nowy Teatr. During the workshops, while having fun together, we will learn how to show basic expressions and most important verbs. We will learn to talk about emotions, animals and colours. Everything will be accompanied by various games, such as charades, mimic and motor exercises. Hosts: Marta Abramczyk, Adam Stoyanov Workshops for children above 5 year of age

Series of screening and lectures by Agnieszka Graff Director: Michael Curtiz (1945)

A story of a strong woman who makes big money during a huge recession. Men failed her, but only motherhood brought her to her knees. From the very beginning we think we know who pulled the trigger and who the femme fatale is... But of course we are wrong. The film appeared in 1945 and was supposed to show women their place.
