THE HUGE DEBATE: “THE TRUTH AND ROLE OF JOURNALISTS IN 1968 AND NOW”
How did the events of March 1968 affect the Polish society and what is the responsibility of modern journalists? Exactly 50 years later, we want to talk about the clear polarisation of the Polish media. Both journalists who personally experienced ‘68 and those from the new generation, who only heard stories about that time, will take part in the discussion.
Guests: Janina Jankowska, Seweryn Blumsztajn, Jakub Majmurek and Marcin Makowski
Host: Agata Szcześniak
The debate is organised by the Institute of Reportage in cooperation with the Iron Curtain project, which is an initiative of Dutch journalists.
The performance takes up the space between Fallaci, raging in pride, and Pasolini, a contestant seduced by the figure of Other.
Director: Michał Borczuch
