What is the story of tenement houses which we pass every day on our way? What future of Warsaw will they co-create? Ogrodowa 65 Kamienica na Woli and Wolskie Centrum Kultury have prepared a special event for all enthusiasts of architecture of Wola as well as for photography fans.
During the event, which is going to take place on 2 June, Ms Magdalen Stopa, an art historian and author of books on architectural structures in Warsaw, is going talk about atmospheric and historic tenement houses of Wola. The meeting under the motto: “What is the story hidden in tenement houses of Wola?” will be a perfect chance to learn information unavailable to us on a daily basis and related directly to the reality that surrounds us.
The meeting with the author is not the only attraction in store for the participants. The event is connected with a photography contest consisting in capturing an element of the architecture of Wola in any possible way. It can be a contemporary photo as well as an archive one found hidden at home. Three winners will receive sets of prizes during the event on 2 June at Wolskie Centrum Kultury (6 Działdowska Street). Moreover, photos taken by participants will be included in an exhibition held during the event.
All guests will be treated with tasty snacks.
