A relax zone, outdoor cinema, Breakfast Market, dance party, DJ Wika – these are just some of the attractions awaiting the residents of Warsaw during DAYS OF WARSAW, an event which is going to be held on the second weekend of June (11-12.06) at Pole Mokotowskie.
Organised by the Warsaw Branch of the Polish Association of Developers, DAYS OF WARSAW, a two-day event, will give Varsovians the opportunity to enjoy lots of attractions which will make them fell that Warsaw is their home. The organisers guarantee great time outdoors, featuring games and tasty meals. There will be a little something for everyone in the relax zone, outdoor cinema, Breakfast Market, among others.
Charity right beside us
For the first time, one of the zones at Pole Mokotowskie will be arranged by the Breakfast Market, a well-known initiative among Varsovians.
The Breakfast Market and Szkoła na Widelcu foundation are preparing a charity imitative called “Kuchrze Dzieciom” (Chefs for Kids), aimed at making sure that children eat better. On the first day (11 June, Saturday), the residents of the capital will have a chance to meet outstanding restaurateurs, excellent chefs and manufacturers of high quality food products from Warsaw. On this day, manufacturers, producers and restaurateurs will participate in the event pro bono, and the entire income will be donated to buy cooking equipment for school cafeterias. All that to make sure that children can eat better.
The mechanism accelerating this “coil of good” is simple. During the charity culinary event, guests will have a chance to taste products and dishes prepared by outstanding restaurateurs / manufacturers for a small fee (PLN 5, 10, 20) to support the important goal. Such personalities as Ewa Wachowicz, Agnieszka Kręglicka, Marta Dymek, Robert Sowa, Mateusz Gessler, Tomasz Jakubiak and Martin Gimenez Castro have expressed their willingness to participate.
Walks with varsavianists and guides and the Warsaw Gallery
The organisers will also invite guests for a cycle of walks in Warsaw organised under the motto: “Let’s reach the history of Warsaw and its sources”. The walks will be held in two districts of the capital in the following locations: Solec (4 June); Pole Mokotowskie (11 June). An unforgettable moment of DAYS OF WARSAW will be the Warsaw Gallery, opened thanks to support granted by Upper Finance. An outdoor photo exhibition will show Warsaw in three versions (the past, the present, the future).
Children and sports
The organisers will also make sure to keep the young Varsovians entertained. There will be a special zone for children full of educational games, for example repotting plants. Kids will also have a chance to have fun in an artistic corner and enjoy an inflatable slide. On Saturday, there will be a huge attraction for enthusiasts of doing sports outdoors – a chance to play volleyball with Karol Kłos, Poland’s top blocker and world championship winner, invited by Sawa Apartments to be the ambassador of Solec Residence Kryształ Powiśla project.
Unusual meeting with developers
The idea of the event is to meet and have fun with people for whom Warsaw is their city, their home. DAYS OF WARSAW is an alternative for the traditional form of flat fairs where in a friendly atmosphere you will have a chance to find yourself an apartment at Pole Mokotowskie.
- For quite some time, we have been bothered by the question why meetings dedicated to flats are usually organised in unfriendly and emotionally distant places such as halls or office buildings. We have decided to change it and reach people. That is why, we are organising the first such unusual meeting with the residents of our city during which we would like to meet them, introduce ourselves and simply start a dialogue – explains Ewa Radojewska from the Polish Association of Developers.
Free counselling
The central element of DAYS OF WARSAW will be a spacious tent where companies from the flat and interior design industry will present their offer. Participants of DAYS OF WARSAW will have a chance to obtain information and advice from every exhibitor. The Counselling Zone will allow them to contact companies specialising in finishing, furniture, electronic equipment and home appliances as well as providers of multimedia services. What is more, lectures and Q&A sessions related to housing will be held. There will also be the Warsaw Brainstorm, an event dedicated to people interested in the development of Warsaw, its potential and challenges faced by the city as far as development by 2030 is concerned. All counselling for the participants is free of charge.

To organise such an event, support from organisations and companies which for years have been building and creating Warsaw for Varsovians is simply a must. That is why, we want not only to show and present our members and supporting companies but also, under a socially-oriented activity, establish an actual dialogue and attempt to find new opportunities for cooperation – says Piotr Jaczewski from the Polish Association of Developers.

They will provide direct information on a wide offer of flats in a nearly completed state in Warsaw.

DAYS OF WARSAW is a socially-oriented project organised by the Warsaw Branch of the Polish Association of Developers. The event has a social, educational and recreational nature. Anyone can participate in it free of charge. DAYS OF WARSAW is a response to the changes taking place in Warsaw, but not only infrastructural and communicational ones but also social changes. DAYS OF WARSAW will show how contemporary Varsovians live, what their expectations and needs are. It is the first such event to comprehensively cover all issues related to purchase of one’s own flat, however, not only as a roof over one’s head but also as a conscious decision concerning a place to live with which we want to identify.
DAYS OF WARSAW is the first such large event dedicated to the residents of the capital. It will be held under the honorary patronage of the President of the Capital City of Warsaw and the Mayor of Mokotów District.
