Jubilee edition of the festival is organized under the slogan "Legends and discoveries". The mission of the event is to make Warsaw citizens and visitors open to the cultural variety of modern world. It's a chance to meet masters of etno music and artists representing world music. According to the slogan of the event, all artists invited are the icons of world music. All the events will take place in two locations: festival tent in front of the Palace of Culture and Science (Pl. Defilad 1) and in The Museum of The History of Polish Jews (ul. Anielewicza 6).
The Festival will start on 24th September with concert of Teta, guitarist from Madagascar whose compositions refers to "tsapiky" music. After concert of Teta, on stage the star of this edition Hugh Masekela from Republic of South Africa. He is the master of afro-jazz style and pioneer of fusion. Hugh Masekela is believed to be one of the most outstanding modern trumpeter. Organizers know how to start the event! Other stars of the jubilee edition of the festival are Mahmoud Ahmed, Barbatuques, Rastak, Mascarimiri and more. Check the whole line up:
