Shopping in Warsaw: shopping centres

If you go shopping in the capital, you should head for shopping centres because of a huge choice of various brands in one place. You would lose lots time on travelling from one shop to another located in a different part of Warsaw. The capital can boast of many shopping centres, there is a little something for everyone ‒ from the most exclusive worldwide brands to chain stores.

Arkadia is the biggest shopping centre in the entire country. It is an extremely modern place where you can buy products of the biggest brands in the world. The offer of the centre was divided into ‘worlds’ according to customers’ needs and how they spend their time here. These are worlds of: fashion, sports, entertainment and relaxation, children, health and beauty, and delicacies. Shops belonging to the same ‘world’ are located close to each other to shorten time spent on searching for a certain thing.

Atrium Reduta is also a modern shopping centre. It has 130 outlets on two stories and a Carrefour superstore. The facility has not forgotten about the youngest ones, there is a special kids’ garden designed for them. Reduta celebrates on various occasions with its customers and also organises many charity and theme events. Another Atrium shopping centre is located in Targówek, it is the biggest entertainment and shopping centre on the right bank of the Vistula.

Blue City is a mall whose area is 1.5 times bigger than the area of the Palace of Culture and Science. The shopping part is located on six stories which contain 230 outlets. Apart from shopping, Blue City offers its guests various ways of spending free time as well as delicious food.

Centrum Krakowska is a shopping centre with the biggest number of shops with interior furniture and equipment.

Galeria Mokotów is one of the most popular places, according to stats it has been visited by over a million customers every month since the second half of 2001.

Panorama is the first such place opened both in Warsaw and Poland. Its main idea is not mass shopping but a single customer that is where everyone is approached individually.

Złote Tarasy is one of the most popular shopping centres in the capital. Its interior is distinguished by a typical urban atmosphere. It is located right next to the Central Station, whereas, reaching the airport takes less than 20 minutes.

Apart from the above mentioned shopping centres, you will find the following malls in Warsaw: Factory Ursus, Fort Wola, Galeria Bemowo, Galeria Ursynów, Janki, King Cross Praga, Klif Warszawa, Land, Promenada, Sadyba Best Mall, Warszawa Wileńska, Wola Park.
