St. John’s Fair – taste the Renaissance history by the Wawel Hill!
This year’s edition of St. John’s Fair starts on 16 June at the Czerwieński Boulevard by the Wawel Hill. The world of Renaissance will be at arm’s reach for three days – from Friday to Sunday. This’ll be an opportunity to take part in numerous shows, balls, fighting performances and unforgettable feasts. Dishes based on Renaissance cuisine will be provided by 9 restaurants from Kraków as part of a huge culinary campaign. (9 – 18 June). As usual, the organisers have prepared lots of attractions for children – they’ll have chance to watch rope-makers, potters, printers, wood engravers and barbers at work. What’s more, you can count on dance workshops, fashion shops enriched with commedia dell’arte scenes and many impressive historical re-enactments.
