Another edition of the most famous music festival devoted to the music of the past – Misteria Paschalia – is upon us.
As usual, it is going to be held during the Holy Week to highlight the relation with celebration of Easter. It will also be an opportunity to learn how this period was celebrated back in the 17th and 18th century. This year, the core of the whole event are three oratorios, including both famous and lesser-known works. Moreover, you can count on the most beautiful pieces of early music, including Mozart’s Requiem, performed by outstanding musicians such as Jordi Savall, Fabio Biondi, Ottavio Dantone, Rinaldo Alessandrini and Marc Minkowski.
