L.U.C – 100 years of Polish film music during the 2018 “Dźwigacze Kultury” Conference!

Henryk Wars’ classics, Krzysztof Komeda’s score from Rosemary's Baby, J.P Kaczmarek pieces from The Aviator – an amazing evening, a unique meeting of artists with a repertoire referring to the history of Polish film music. You can expect all these things on 3 October 2018 in Krzysztof Penderecki Auditorium Hall at the ICE Kraków Congress Centre.

Rebel Babel Ensemble is an international, trans-cultural big band founded by Łukasz L.U.K Rostowski. It unites soloists, composers as well as amateur and professional orchestras. RBE’s latest project features such Polish composers and producers as: Piotr Zioła, Dorota Miśkiewicz, Tamara Arciuch, Gosia Kożuchowska, Maciej Obara and Łukasz L.U.K Rostowski. They re-interpret the works of such outstanding film music composers as: Krzysztof Komeda and J. P. Kaczmarek as well as lesser known artists who are also worth promoting. Modern versions of their compositions, performed by the big band consisting of professional jazz musicians from Rebel Babel Commanders and local brass bands, are a unique combination of film music, electronic music, jazz, hip-hop and folk.

The tickets cost PLN 40 and are available across Poland in Empik, Media Markt, Saturn stores and in Info Kraków tourist information points.
