Between 27 and 30 October, holders of tickets for the International Book Fair will be entitled to use public transport for free.

The idea was introduced by the president of Kraków – Jacek Majchrowski, who said that:

“ I thought that this year’s 20th edition of the Fair and the culmination of the Conrad Festival, featuring top writers and intellectuals, is a fantastic opportunity to highlight that manifesting a pro- reading approach in Kraków – a UNESCO's City of Literature – is really significant to us. By doing so, we not only promote books as cultural goods, encourage people to attend the Book Fair and Conrad Festival but also promote sustainable public transport, whose high quality is something we can be proud of”.
