The 7 th St. John’s Fair will begin already on 24 June in Kraków.

As every year, all visitors can participate in fierce competitions. The stakes are very high! The winner will take the Beggar’s Throne of the 16 th -century Kraków , known from the novel and dashboard game “Kacper Ryx and the King of Beggars”.

“ The Beggar’s Throne” is a historical location-based game which allows the participants to discover 16 th -century Kraków.

On Saturday and Sunday, at 10:30 a.m., the participants of the game will go on a journey alone or in groups. Apart from the Beggar’s Throne you will also have a chance to play the dashboard game which served as the basis for the location-based game.

Another attraction of the Fair is the competition for the most beautiful garland. On 25 June, 03:00 p.m., anyone will have a chance to create their own garland. The registration form can be downloaded from: www.wianki.krakow.pl , and it will also be available at the Fair.

The best authors will receive wonderful prizes. The first prize is a four-week stay at the Polish seaside for four people. The runner-up will receive a voucher for dinner. The prize for third place consists of set of deckchairs perfect for summer. What is more, the person right behind the top 3 can also hope for a prize – he/she will win a tour for two of a heat and power station in Kraków. Everything will be photographed.

The most active participants of the Fair will receive special patents. They will allow you to become a royal chamberlain, queen Bona’s gardener or marketer.

What is more, on Friday, at 08:30 p.m., a ball will be held, featuring a ballet and pantomime performance – “ Queen Bona’s Mascaraed ” – by Cracovia Danza.
