This year, the most important meeting in the world between the catholic youth and the pope – the World Youth Day – is taking place in Kraków.
The event was originated by John Paul II in 1985, and every editions gathers over 1 million participants. WYD has a form of a religious festival whose programme includes services, vigils, religious instruction lessons as well as artistic and cultural activities under the Youth Festival: concerts, exhibitions and workshops. The World Youth Day is taking place on 25 – 31 July across entire Kraków.
